Very true. If you create an environment of fear in any place it does wonders for the economy. You just have to look at the Swine Flu pandemic. The parliamentary assembly is having an emergency investigation session on how a number of pharmacutical manufacturers managed to make members of the world health organization freak out and convinced loads of Health boards to waste money we didn’t have in the first place. Greed and control. If religious groups get control they can get more people and money out of fear… back to the dark ages.

Wouldn’t it be possible if this law passed that a lot of performers wouldn’t come to Ireland anymore? After all, a lot of artists tend to say things that could be interpreted as blasphemous.
